Review on 🔩 Efficient Drilling Made Easy with Kreg Tool DKDB Stepped Drill by Sean Xayamonty

I started a benchtop project with Ipe patio sections and was having a lot of trouble with a standard drill bit. I knew the ipé would be difficult to grind, but I was surprised at how difficult it turned out to be. I didn't have high expectations that the cobalt would make such a big difference, but it was dramatic - like night and day. I think I drilled about 15 holes and the last one cut through just as quickly as the first. I am very happy with the results. I will of course only keep this bit for heavy stuff but I will definitely be buying another one as a spare. I know Kreg offers a resharpening service and plan to send one out when it gets dull (assuming they also sharpen cobalt bits). Great tool.
