You'll wonder why you didn't buy this sooner.

This drill works great. He's extremely sharp. In fact, be careful when you take it out of the box or you might cut your fingers. I used this bit to join some red oak planks (3/4 inch) and it drilled clean, straight holes as directed. I bought it because other reviewers said the higher metallurgy in this drill bit made it worth the money due to the longer life. Great for pocket holes in hardwood

I started a benchtop project with Ipe patio sections and was having a lot of trouble with a standard drill bit. I knew the ipΓ© would be difficult to grind, but I was surprised at how difficult it turned out to be. I didn't have high expectations that the cobalt would make such a big difference, but it was dramatic - like night and day. I think I drilled about 15 holes and the last one cut through just as quickly as the first. I am very happy with the results. I will of course only keep this bit
