Highly recommended! for electronics

Jet skiers: These headphones are perfect! For a few days I've been diligently looking for radios to be able to communicate with other jet ski drivers I'm traveling with. It's a great concept and despite other constructive comments about it, I think it's phenomenal. At the time of writing this post I have used them 4 times. They are splashproof, loud and clear. I'm a big fan of sound, so I'm picky about headphones. These projects have very loud mids and decent highs. Low frequencies are lost, but that doesn't bother me. You can hear the music clearly, nice and loud, over the rush of the wind and the engine moving through the water at 60 miles per hour. The two-way "intercom" capability is great! The microphone picks up your voice loud and clear, just like I described the music. While driving around 30 with the wind and engine in the background you can usually talk while speaking 2 ways. When you scream it's actually too loud lol and it can hurt. I'm very impressed with how good the mics are. I noticed another comment stating that it wasn't possible to connect headphones via bluetooth and use intercom at the same time. I had no problem with what he/she said! When I first got the headphones, I first connected the bluetooth function and experimented with it on my phone. The headphones have a separate volume, so I turn the volume all the way up on the phone and then the headphones adjust the volume on their own. A day later I connected the headset. You press the center button to open the intercom function. When this happens, the music stops and you can talk as much as you like. Once you're done, either of you has to press a button to end the two-way call, and your music will automatically resume. I've noticed that if we talk longer than a full 90 seconds, I have to manually restart the music from my phone. It could be a problem with the phone. Range: They operate within 200-300 feet. At a pretty decent distance. Only once (of many two-way calls) was there interference in the headphones when white noise was heard. I got very close and it kind of cleared up but it didn't. Once we left the area we were in, this didn't happen again. I want to be open-minded and say that I can't blame the radio interference on the headset. I'm giving Trost one star less simply because there is a pressure point in my left ear that is irritating after wearing these headphones for a few hours. . Otherwise these headphones are great.

Pros
  • Bluetooth headphones
Cons
  • Something different
