Simpleton-friendly

As someone who knows almost nothing about networking, home theater or electronics in general, I can't give a detailed overview of all the technical aspects of this Blu-ray player. As this is my first player I cannot compare it to others I have owned or used in the past. But what I can say is that for all my gadget ignorance, I managed to open the box and have this device set up and running in less than 20 minutes despite my devilish two year old interrupting the process time and time again with his running around the house. I don't actually have any Blu-ray discs yet, but I can tell you that our favorite DVD, 'Elmo' So, in today's on-demand, responsive content delivery environment, it's very slow and annoying. But considering I was at the mercy of the network's schedules (and commercials) when watching my favorite kids' shows, 5+ minutes really isn't anything to complain about. I think it's all about the perspective. In general, this player has not yet made me swear, and it performs all the main functions for which it was purchased. I'm happy. :) I think it's all about the perspective. In general, this player has not yet made me swear, and it performs all the main functions for which it was purchased.
