which is used on the 2007 Ford Taurus. Well it works. This car has had several starts since we've owned it. They called in 2007, replaced the factory starter in 2010, then 2013, 2014, 17th and 18th again. After that, in 2010, everything was replaced at the Autozone under a lifetime warranty. In the end I decided to go with another brand. However, I suspect the real reason they are coming back is because the oil filter is above the starter motor. All starters are defective at the solenoid. I had a starter/solenoid combo, Ford moved it.
