Just as battery-friendly as it is to use.
I first used this analyzer on a very poor 10 meter antenna I installed in my car for my FT-857D. I got it to oscillate while studying and working but it ONLY took a while because the antenna is oscillating out of range. I could easily see the screen from the outside and two AAA batteries made it through with no issues. This analyzer was recommended to me by a radio amateur who I trust very much. So far, so good!
