I'm updating my review because I bought two of these and one worked for a couple of weeks until I encountered similar issues to those others have mentioned about the loud noise that may or may not eventually go away and a random continuation beep sounds (luckily it eventually stopped). The other unit worked fine without these issues, although the slight downside is that it sometimes leaves a puddle of water in front of the unit. It's not a big mess, but if it's carpet you'll find it gets wet. Otherwise I took care of a defective unit and exchanged it once but as the replacement had the same issues I received a refund. One thing I want to say about this company is that their support team is very responsive and they look after you while you contact them. So I'm only deducting one star because I ended up having good and bad experiences with the product, but I also ended up having the option to get a refund. In theory I could get a replacement until I got a working one, but I didn't want to deal with the chance of getting a bad block again. Unfortunately, I had to give up a defective device and buy another brand. , which was bulkier and cheaper but did the job. I think this brand could do well if they worked on quality control because so far it seems a lot of people get defective devices while others are very experienced and leave 5 star reviews so I just wanted to say I appreciate these positive ones reviews are genuine; it's not because they're getting paid or anything. At least that wasn't the case for me - I left the same 5-star review before I started having problems, so I'm updating it now. With a V2 of this model or a newer product with its signature slim design, I'm still willing to try. As long as they fix their quality control issues.
