worked but I used it to sharpen a 4 cylinder bike and before I could fully sharpen the last cylinder one stone was worn down to the metal, one was half worn and the other was nearly full . Since then it hasn't worked as I haven't put more pressure on a side or anything. Good for one-time use, but not likely. If you've sharpened a single barrel or maybe a double barrel and don't think you'd ever use it again then I would recommend it. If you plan to hone multiple cylinders or more than one twin cylinder engine. Spend a little more money for better sharpness.
