Review on 3M Peltor Soundtrap/Tactical 6-S Electronic Headset, Black - Ultimate Hearing Protection and Enhanced Communication (One-Size, 97043) by Carrie Williams

Not everything is so fabulous.

I have six pairs of electronic headphones and these are the second worst. Given that the worst #1 is a 10-year-old Sportsman's Guide heirloom that's been vacuumed from day one, that's not so good. I'm assuming you need them (like me) to be able to wear a helmet and in theory you can put your ACH on and the headband, as there isn't one, won't get in the way. The thinner top edges aren't thin enough and when you walk or run (or move at all) they fall out of your ears. If you're not wearing a headband, you'll have to rely on SQUEEZE to keep those things close to your head. I should have thought better about it because they don't have enough compression and if they did they would probably give me a hell of a headache. You will need grommets on the serrated top/side so you can attach a tether to the matching grommets on the hat. It's like NASCAR helmets are strapped to the seats. Do you see how bad things are? Also, the soundproofing and quality are significantly inferior to my Walker Razors. Razors are so cool I give them to people who don't even shoot. I tell them, if you hear a knock at night, the first thing to do is put on electronic headphones. Now you can hear if the villain is walking on the lawn outside your yard. The villain loses the element of surprise and you win. But not THESE headphones. Unless you have a free hand to support them.
