Review on SANOXY_EXT SLIM CD_DVD Saxony External CD RW Writer by Donald Waller

Five stars for everything that is well designed and works as described which category this little machine belongs to. . . except for one thing: the length of the USB cables (or the length of at least one). This slim external DVD/CD drive worked right out of the box with my MacBook Air 13". The dozens of USB printer cables I have are used more regularly here as they will be longer than at least one cable and allow me to attach this drive one side of the computer when you use it (rather than the laptop's wrist - a sitting area.) Remember, this is NOT a "super drive" capable of burning both DVDs and CDs, but it does the job well and is fairly quiet when standing on a hard flat surface.At the moment (just a few weeks after purchase) I would recommend this product.
