It was cheaper than the Sandisk Extreme Pro which is the fastest on the market, but the Sandisk is also a lot more expensive, especially at 512GB. The PNY card reads at a maximum speed of around 95MB/s and writes at around 85-90MB/s, but this depends on which high-speed port it is connected to. I have a snapshot of the Crystal Disk Mark results for this card. My only complaint is that it was difficult to cut open the blister pack it came in and also once you put it in the SD adapter it's very difficult to pull it out again. But you don't usually take it out very often, so it's just a small detail. BTW I reformatted it to NTSC. It was formatted as exFAT. I use it as the "D" (storage) drive in a thin and light laptop that I couldn't add a second internal drive to.
