My Nintendo Switch is a BEAST with this thing.

I play too many digital internet games for my Nintendo Switch to work with a 128GB or 256GB card. While I would like to end up with a 1TB card, this one has to. Got it for $99 and it was absolute gold. Read/Write seems faster than my previous card and I still have a few GB left.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Power socket required

Terrible quality, good for computer accessories and peripherals

My worst fears came true when I bought cheaper goods from third party companies. After a day with that 512GB (and it was only 460GB on Windows) it stopped working. More importantly, when I threw it away, it was hot. Apparently there was a short circuit. It now has a noticeable bulge as it has been burned from the inside. With so many different SD cards, this was the first time I've seen one.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Will be added later

Ok but beware of fakes

My love. However, make sure you have not received a fake. One I received was a fake. He was quickly replaced. However, you don't have much time for it, so check them out once you get them. The easiest way is to plug it into your computer, store more than 30GB of data on it, and then see if you can open the files. Also, I got 2 at the same time. Their packaging was different, which was my first alarm. Maybe you're luckier than me.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Contact seller

Overall the PNY for USB stick works and holds up well. There are not many flash drives for photos. This one crashed when downloading daily images from real estate drones, which cost a lot more than the map itself. Yes. In my opinion, if you need the data/images to actually be on the card until you process them, skip the PNY. I chose Samsung/Sony for microSD exclusively for drones and Sony/Lexar/Sandisk for SD in my DSLRs. It hurts to get stuck with a large capacity card. They are not cheap and…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Works great, fast for SDXC

It was cheaper than the Sandisk Extreme Pro which is the fastest on the market, but the Sandisk is also a lot more expensive, especially at 512GB. The PNY card reads at a maximum speed of around 95MB/s and writes at around 85-90MB/s, but this depends on which high-speed port it is connected to. I have a snapshot of the Crystal Disk Mark results for this card. My only complaint is that it was difficult to cut open the blister pack it came in and also once you put it in the SD adapter it's very…

My 512GB card seems defective

I received a PNY U3 Pro Elite MicroSD card - 512GB - (P-SDUX512U3100PRO-GE) yesterday and Windows recognizes it as 462GB in the exFAT -File system. I always run a test to confirm the card is error free and not fake and I'm already getting mixed results. I've found that my laptop recognizes the card MOST quickly when connected directly to my old Dell XPS 13 via the SD card adapter that came with the micro SD. 2 times out of 7 my computer freezes for a few seconds. I tested the card several times

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I just bought another one of these cards after having good experiences with PNY Pro Elite microSDXC cards in my smartphones and just doing two different tests with the latest version of CrystalDiskMark and two different card readers I have, have performed . .The first card reader is the Kingston MobileLite Plus USB 3.2 microSDHC/SDXC UHS-II Card Reader. The second card reader is the Cable Matters Dual Slot USB C Card Reader (model number 201058). I will list the ASINs for each card. at the end…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

My 512GB card looks broken

Cons
  • Something else

Sorry I can't give ZERO stars to this card . It failed after just a month - nearly 474GB of music GONE from the card (I have a backup of everything on an external hard drive so I don't lose the contents). PNY isn't one of the two brands I buy (Sandisk and Samsung), but overall it had good reviews, was a bit cheaper, and was the size I needed. The crash occurred when playing music through my Fiio DAP. I was able to verify that the problem was with the card and not my DAP, when I used different…
