Review on ๐Ÿณ Cuisinart Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 10-Piece Cookware Set - Chef's Choice by Megan Knoll

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's 2017 and we just replaced them. Most of them are still in great condition, but it's easier to buy the whole set.

My husband bought me this set in 2012 as a gift "We've traveled the world, here's something familiarโ€. These were my daily dishes while we were living on dry land for two years. We then moved onto a boat and I started cooking professionally (breakfast, lunch, appetizers, dinner and dessert daily) for week-long sailing charters. Another two years have passed and I can honestly say that this is one of the best purchases he has ever made. We wash by hand (no dishwasher) and make sure to use plastic/silicone utensils, but that's where the precaution ends. I've been beating all that loving shit out of those pots and pans and it's only now that I've noticed the non-stick coating has peeled off on some spots on my pans. That being said I replaced the 10" pan with a 12" pan after the first two years (needed more for the boat) and have replaced the 12" pan every year since as I use it so often, that the non-stick ability eventually came time for a new one. I have a gas range and use a high flame skillet, under the grill, in the oven, any number of times a day. Seriously, I can't get over how durable these things were. Be warned though, I found the Chef's Classic range to have much better non-stick protection than the GreenGourmet version - this 12" pan stuck together after just two months of heavy use.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Sad packaging
