You are NOT carrying a weight of about 100 lbs. We were trying to hang a 200-year-old Tremeau mirror that weighs well under 100 pounds with these two horrible hooks and nearly lost a leg (and the antique mirror) when the mirror fell. We attached one to the wall as instructed and hung the first side of the mirror (with the man holding the full weight of the second side the entire time). The moment we placed the weight of the first side of the mirror on the hook (while still supporting ALL the weight of the other side), the hanger slid right off the wall and the antique mirror crashed to the floor. The husband jerked his leg sideways and caught some of the weight as the mirror fell to the ground, saving him from falling. Gave all one star because while they're easy to use, the ease quickly ceases when the object you're hanging falls off the wall. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING except a slight painting fee or you will almost lose your leg and whatever you are trying to hang.
