Dirty Coffee Maker Disaster

This thing is a nightmare to clean. First, the coffee basket is too small. During brewing, he fills the brewing basket to the top with overflowing wet coffee grounds. And when it's brewed, it leaves wet coffee grounds inside. It even pumps water and steam back into the mill, leaving wet ground inside the mill as well. Literally the only way to use this thing is to wash it thoroughly with water in the sink every time you use it, even if you use disposable filters. And your sink will be full of wet coffee grounds, which is terrible for septic systems. Wet coffee grounds stuck on the lid of the brew basket, in and around the grinder. I have never seen a coffee maker so dirty and in need of such a thorough cleaning after each use. It also has the smallest reservoir and if you don't direct the water accurately when filling, it will splash onto the grinder and other internal parts you don't want to get wet. I only received it a week ago but I'm pretty sure I can't return it as I've used it. It's so bad I just throw it in the trash and start over.
