We bought this model because it had the same characteristics as the previous model that we have been using for many years. We were not disappointed. It works as expected, makes good coffee every morning, the carafe keeps the coffee hot without worrying about turning off the burner, and cleaning is acceptable.

Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to clean. The warmth of the coffee is perfect and the blending power grinds the beans perfectly for a great cup of coffee. I use lots of beans for a more flavorful and stronger cup, but I'm sure the fewer you use the weaker the drink will be. I'm not a morning person, but today it was nice to wake up in the morning with a cup of hot, fresh and strong coffee without any difficulties. .who wants a Keurig?

This is the fifth Cuisinart grinder I own. EVERY one of them ended with a coffee grinder failure. Cuisinart even replaced one of them and it failed after 5 months. I contacted Cuisinart's customer service department. They said they would replace it within 10 days.
