There is a slight hiss when moving the mouse (clearly audible when the room is quiet), which wasn't there before. I also replaced the wireless mouse with a wired one because it got stuck once and sometimes didn't work (wired mouse works fine). When the laptop goes to sleep, I have to reconnect the monitor. The monitor does not "wake up" when connected. Update #2: Had to upgrade to a laptop that doesn't have an HDMI port and use VGA directly for the monitor. But. Win one for the monitor. it automatically recognizes which component is switched! So if I scroll to the desktop and move the mouse, the monitor also switches (the same thing happens in reverse)! I'm a lucky tourist. :-) So one click and I switch. even if HDMI is NOT used.
