This unit works great but installation can be a nightmare if you don't know how. The instructions will ask you to connect your device to your main computer, open a browser, enter www.belkin.universal and follow the instructions. Well, belkin.universal doesn't exist and you can spend hours trying to figure out why. Most people angrily give up and suggest many Anglo-Saxon adjectives that could refer to Belkin. However, keep calm. What you need to do is DISCONNECT your computer from the internet. Disconnect the Ethernet cable or turn off Wi-Fi, and then connect the device's Ethernet and USB (power) cables. Wait for the blue/amber light to flash, then open your browser (Explorer or Firefox) and phew, the Belkin icon will appear and you're done. (I didn't even have to type belkin.universal) How this works when your computer isn't connected to the internet I have no idea, but it works.
