Review on 🔪 G TING Whetstone Sharpener with Flattening Feature by Austin Arvayo

Bought this as a gift for my youngest grandson who enjoys planing. Luckily I have experience with wood and am familiar with sharpening stones and processes. This kit seems to be quite capable and flexible. The only issue I have is the instructions that come with the kit. Although the instructions attempted to be complete, I imagine it would be very difficult for a 12 year old to understand. The leveling stone has not been identified, not described, nor has its use been described. The stones appear to be of good quality but I have only used them once to show my grandson how to make it. I did not find the use of two leather straps and an applicator stick adequately described. If the stones give good service it should be a very good sharpening system for a long time. The block of wood for holding the stones seems very handy. I think the set is very good for the price.
