DO NOT leave them on. The lens of the lamp will melt and the metal will burn your skin.
Initially the headlights look great. I tried one and the light was bright and got brighter as it got warmer. Since they go inside the car, the interior lights can sometimes stay on for a few minutes or more, so I plugged one in and left it on for 5 minutes. When I checked, the plastic lens had melted on one side and when I went to get the flashlight, I burned my skin with the flashlight's black body, which I believe is aluminum. I sent them back as defective but I'm pretty sure they are all the same. This is only useful if it's lit for a minute or so. I wouldn't use it if it could stay on longer as the heat build up is phenomenal.
