Failed in 18 months, maybe the second attempt will last longer?

I just reordered this part. The first failed after 18 months. OEM lasted 6 years. I hope it lasts longer in this second round. On the plus side, installation is relatively easy and the price, especially on Amazon, is very good. I would get an extra $50 to buy the exact same part locally.
