Review on 🎨 Optimized for Search: Fabriano 1264 Watercolor Pad, Bright White, 18 x 24 inches by Doris Tran

My usual paper is Buckingford in 11 x 15 sheets but I was looking for an inexpensive alternative that comes in a spiral notepad for quick travel sketches. I've used Fabriano paper in the past and enjoyed it, more expensive paper has been used so I decided to give this inexpensive paper a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how this 1264 paper performs. It handles wet-on-wet without pilling, dry brushing and also lifts without a hitch. All these techniques have been used in the attached painting with paints in tubes. In my opinion, this paper is far superior to similarly priced papers like Strathmore and Canson XL or Montval. replaced my bockingford especially for the work i am selling but this is a great budget paper at a very affordable price!
