I use this as a mold for homemade dish soap tablets. I've heard of people using ice trays for the same purpose, but I think getting them would be near impossible and quite a headache. They're a bit crumbly, so this tray is PERFECT for that. All you have to do is press to the bottom and you have the perfect square shape. I am really impressed. I have purchased Wilton products before for a variety of baking purposes and they do really high quality stuff. Given how easily these dishwasher tabs fall apart, I imagine candy, chocolate, and ice cream come out with no problem. The tray can be used in the fridge, freezer, microwave or oven (up to 500 degrees!). I can think of about a billion other uses for this tray (baby food, homemade beauty products, cakes, bars) and expect to continue using it for some time to come. If you're wondering how much each cavity holds, I'd say a little over a tablespoon per cavity. My detergent recipe says one tablespoon per tablet, and after I filled it up there was very little space left. It's really easy to clean. I had no problems with sticking and it held up great in the dishwasher. I definitely recommend this product! Excellent quality!
