1 is high and 4 is low?

Good fan switch. I bought this to replace an old switch. With the old switch, I could never remember if the first click was high or low. Has the number slider problem been solved or not? I assumed that one would be a low value and four would be a high value, but it's the other way around. I think it's the other way around. Also annoying: The brand name is written in black letters directly on the visible part of the switch. The view makes it unnecessarily ugly. Aside from these minor issues, it works great and seems reliable.
