Review on πŸŽ₯ Wansview 1080P Webcam: Superior Video Quality with Built-in Microphone for Streaming, Conferences, Gaming & Study by Nick Moo

Decent webcam, but nowhere near Logitech or other high-end vendors

I'll put it bluntly: this is a good webcam FOR THE PRICE. Sort of like a whopper - a good burger FOR THE PRICE. That doesn't mean the Whopper is a gourmet meal and this camera is NOT a high-end camera. This is a solid performance, to be sure. It's not scary at all. But I've compared it to the Logitech C920 on the same computer and the picture quality on the Logitech is much, much better. I will say that I am VERY impressed that it just worked on Windows 10(TM). There was no driver installation from my side. , I just plugged it in and it showed up as a camera. I suspect it was activating or installing the drivers in the background, but it was very quick. Painless installation. Image quality is satisfactory. Like my Logitech C920, it does 2.1 megapixels for stills, but looking at the images side-by-side it's easy to see which is better - Logitech. The video quality is good, but again only satisfactory. Logitech can take 60 frames per second, but this camera can only do 30. Looking at myself with video conferencing software, I see a clear difference in quality between this camera and Logitech. It's not bad, but not nearly as good as Logitech's. Now it's a $35 camera versus a $150 camera, so I'm definitely not complaining. I just want people to be clear about what they're getting. It's a solid, decent camera, but it's not high-end at all. What I also don't like is that there is no lid. However, this is a small note. I've attached an image to show you what it looks like.
