2008 Honda Ridgeline

Honda Ridgeline '08 used for 7 pin retrofit. Oi vey I tried 8 different seat belts trying this and that. Hope this helps someone. Black blue and yellow. Black on 7 pin direct to battery with a 40 amp fuse. Blue from pin 7 goes to blue on the brake control unit without a fuse. Plug this 4 pin into the 4 pin on 7way. The amber light only goes to the tail light if you are using a trailer with brakes that lock when reversing (check yours), otherwise like me who has the old brake settings in the pop up just close it. On the controller; The black goes to the battery with the 30A fuse, the blue is already connected to the blue 7 pin fuse and the red goes to the square 4 pin connector located on top of the brake pedal. I looked at the gray 4 pin factory connector that connected to the steering column and matched the wires from that harness to the wires from the controller harness to see which wire to connect to. You can also use a multimeter to see which device is receiving power when the brake is applied. I remember the gray and black on the bottom right, but don't quote me.
