Remove the insert from your factory plug

Everything works great! Some large zip ties would have been nice, I had to remove the factory gasket to connect the adapter which was quite frustrating until I figured it out.

The computer in my Ridgeline cost me $2,000!

Do not buy! They were easy to install, but after a few days my truck wouldn't start. Honda's customer service department informed us that the lighting kit was drying out our computers. Repair costs 2000 dollars!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Great connector but more difficult than explained - Honda Ridgeline 2013

I watched the online video and it seemed easy you know 10 minutes and done - the instructions provided are generic and mostly useless . The first part was easy, turn off the light and plug in. Then thread the wires through the hole under the driver's side; it gets difficult because until you realize that maybe you went the wrong way because there are multiple options, it gets difficult. Anyway, I went through the logical hole, the bigger one, but when I tried to attach the module to the hitch…

2008 Honda Ridgeline

Honda Ridgeline '08 used for 7 pin retrofit. Oi vey I tried 8 different seat belts trying this and that. Hope this helps someone. Black blue and yellow. Black on 7 pin direct to battery with a 40 amp fuse. Blue from pin 7 goes to blue on the brake control unit without a fuse. Plug this 4 pin into the 4 pin on 7way. The amber light only goes to the tail light if you are using a trailer with brakes that lock when reversing (check yours), otherwise like me who has the old brake settings in the pop

EASY and FAST to attach equipment

Background - I wanted to add a towing function to my Honda Ridgeline RTS but I didn't want to pay the dealer to add a custom Honda kit so I decided to go with a non-Honda one Tow hitch assembly, the Honda kit had a connector housing that I couldn't easily install. Research - I looked at several other kits but this kit's installation video looked the easiest. It was also recommended by a local hitch company and they are the ones who use it. Installation. Installation was very easy. Removing the…

Easy to install. Is working. OEM connectors.

This review is for Tow Ready 118400 T-One Connector for Honda Ridgeline Truck. The instructions are good, clear and easy to understand. Installation takes 30-40 minutes from start to finish. The only things you need are a 10mm socket and a 1/4" socket and a screwdriver/wrench for these sockets. You will also need a drill with a 3/32 inch bit. then pull straight back, not to the side). Once the tail light is out of the way, unplug the driver's side wiring and connect the Tow Ready splice to the…
