The hook is not attached to the handle.

I love Addi crochet hooks and overall I think they are value for money but this hook arrived with the head not attached to the handle. Maybe a problem with the glue or molding? My man of every alley fixed it for me, but I'll think twice about these snags in the future.

I'm a big fan of Addi products. That .

I'm a big fan of Addi products. This is a 3 star rating reflecting my experience with this particular hook. After two years of use, this hook literally fell apart. The plastic body of the handle cracked, rendering the hook unusable. No offense, was never dropped. It just stopped. I will contact Addy directly for a refund.

Very comfortable, great length!

I will always be amazed at the capabilities of the human brain. I switched from a slightly different crochet hook to this one and hooked through every other stitch when I started with this crochet hook. Short work on a big project and here it is - my brain is completely rewired to allow for this small change in the shape of the hook and now this is my pick. I don't know how to spend a lot of money on mine so when the styrofoam stick on my old favorite hook finally melted from use it was a great

Good hook but not my favorite

Addi comfort grip is a decent hook. The distinguishing feature of this crochet hook is the steel hook: it slides easily over the yarn and is pleasant to use. The comfortable grip, while comfortable, is no more comfortable than any other hook I've ever used. The decisive factor for me is the hook itself. - It's very wide. Similar to crocheting a golden club. This isn't necessarily a problem when making basic double crochet stitches and the like, but it's very difficult to maneuver for tighter…

Divisible @ handle

Divisible handle. Why? Maybe someone likes it because it's easier to travel with? The hook is smooth. The grip is stiff, so if you put on one of those comfy pencil grips it's a nice hook. If I had known it was removable I would not have bought it. When I took it out of my pocket and held it for a few seconds, it came loose. Then I realized that you can rotate the white part of the handle to place the grip grooves anywhere that suits your crochet style. After all, it's a nice feature. Just hope…

Very disappointed with "comfortable grip "

This just arrived today and I've been using it for less than 30 minutes and I usually crochet several hours a day with no problems. It usually wears off on my hands after hours, so I bought this to try, thinking it might do the trick so I could work longer hours without taking a break. My hand started cramping after 10 minutes, and after about 20 minutes the "comfort grip" was causing my thumb to blister. I will never order these again. I'm glad I only took one size to begin with and not the…

Disappointment

I had such high hopes for this hook. I need something more ergonomic than old fashioned flimsy metal hooks. But the shape of the hook on this hook is very similar to Boye's hook and it is difficult to pull it back through the loops. Susan Bates hooks are wider at the end of the hook and taper sharply to a comfortable point. The hook is the part that points to your hand. The design allows the hook to fly through the loops while you work. But Susan Bates hooks are not ergonomically designed and…
