EASY and FAST to attach equipment

Background - I wanted to add a towing function to my Honda Ridgeline RTS but I didn't want to pay the dealer to add a custom Honda kit so I decided to go with a non-Honda one Tow hitch assembly, the Honda kit had a connector housing that I couldn't easily install. Research - I looked at several other kits but this kit's installation video looked the easiest. It was also recommended by a local hitch company and they are the ones who use it. Installation. Installation was very easy. Removing the two taillight assemblies was easy, and Honda did an excellent job of making them easily accessible by simply lowering the tailgate. The kit comes pre-assembled so it was just a matter of plugging the new wiring harness into the existing wiring, routing the wiring, gluing the control module to the cab with the provided double sided tape and securing the excess. Wiring. A small hole is required behind the left turn signal (hidden by the Honda headlight housing) to install a ground screw, but this is the only time you will need anything other than a screwdriver and wrench (for Honda headlight housings). Tools - a set of heads, a screwdriver, a drill, a drill for metal, dams (for cutting off excess screed material). Extras - Purchasing extra wire ties for lifting and removing wires is a good idea. Three are included but I wanted and needed more. I also used velcro to hide the braid and connector when not in use. Time - The entire installation was completed in 15 minutes by two people working together. Function - everything works as promised. Quality - The quality of this kit was excellent. Summary and recommendations - this is a good solution for towing. I would recommend this set to a friend.
