For photography - suitable where the focusing speed and some special "nobility" of the picture are not critical. For video (to clarify - in my particular case of a family video - a child) is not the best option. The protective filter strikes compactness very noticeably - if it is in your pocket, it is better to forget about the filter. Pros below: Compact (however, in reality it is larger than it seems in the photo). Sharp (1.7 working, starting at about 2.5 maximum sharpness). Aperture-fast. With its cons. Movable front to which the lens cap is attached. Itβs really scary to put it in a pocket on a fotik. It makes noise (not too much, but noticeably) and vibrates when focusing. Focusing speed does not shine. When shooting a video, it becomes especially critical - refocusing becomes indecently long (5-10 seconds). Vignetting in the open is very noticeable. There is no stabilizer.
