I bought it from my hands in excellent condition for 9 I replaced the PZ 14-42 video pancake with it and I donโ€™t regret it, carcass (with a stabilizer built into the matrix) I was even suspected of using Photoshop to enhance sharpness =) I consider this as a compliment to the glass (taking into account that the E-PL1 has a thin AA filter) for technical shots at home, I used a SLR with a fast fifty dollars, now, with the purchase of this lens, there is still nothing better than Nikon and 35 /โ€ฆ

Pros
  • - Very sharp - Compact and lightweight - fast - Subjectively, and 50mm, just what you need!
Cons
  • - No stabilizer - Gives a small barrel (if there is no auto-correction in the carcass) - Buzzing when autofocusing - Don't zoom ; )

Good product for me, no problems at all.

An ideal high-aperture staff for small cameras of the micro 4/3 system. For me, it was the criterion for choosing a system. At the time of release, it was the best lens in its weight category. Pros: Compactness. Aperture: quite usable 1.7 + quite usable iso 800 any of the cameras of this system allows you to shoot no worse than we see in the dark. Sharpness, about the same as that of 50mm optics SLR cameras. Usable with open, pixel-by-pixel sharpness after covering by 2 steps. Contrast whenโ€ฆ

I am satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

For photography - suitable where the focusing speed and some special "nobility" of the picture are not critical. For video (to clarify - in my particular case of a family video - a child) is not the best option. The protective filter strikes compactness very noticeably - if it is in your pocket, it is better to forget about the filter. Pros below: Compact (however, in reality it is larger than it seems in the photo). Sharp (1.7 working, starting at about 2.5 maximum sharpness).โ€ฆ

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

I really like the lens, ideal for the genre and street photography. It copes well with hand-held shooting of the night city (with a stub in the carcass). I practically donโ€™t shoot from the camera (ep1), it turns out an excellent travel kit. Has pros: So far, this is the only compact and fast standard AF lens for micro-carcasses. Already 1.7 is working, although of course it smears the corners, but at the maximum open aperture this is inevitable, but in the center the sharpness is excellentโ€ฆ

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

I put E-PL1 on the carcass. I use. In general - quite satisfied. By weight as a regular 14-42. Now I think that if 14 mm has an aperture of 2.5 more honest than this one, then you can take it. The width is sometimes not enough, and the use of aperture less than 2 always makes you wonder if the edges of the photo are needed. And so - a great compact lens for every day! Got pros: Small. Quite sharp, especially in the center. Light-fast (see drawback). Strong! Good bokeh :) The front lensโ€ฆ

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

This lens is a unique combination of compactness, aperture ratio, high optical qualities and versatility. It is quite suitable for portraits (decent bokeh) and for landscapes (if there is not enough angle, use pan-frame stitching). It is very good, as a regular fix, but as the ONLY lens on a micro, it is almost irreplaceable. Works out his money completely, I recommend!

Pros
  • - Small size, - Sharpness (sometimes even excessive), - Aperture, - Almost no HA
Cons
  • - They say that the focus is slow, but I did not shoot dynamic scenes with it, although compared to the Sigma 30 / 2.8, the Panasonic is several times slower. - It seemed to me that the image is a little cold, however, this can be fixed in the editor in an elementary way

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

A good lens, some might find it a little pricey, but it's totally worth the money. Small, optically very good, convenient focal length, bright, reliable. The only drawback is the focusing speed, I wonโ€™t say that itโ€™s completely bad, itโ€™s just not suitable for dynamics, for portraits, landscapes - one of the best glasses for micro. At f3.5-f4 it is very sharp all over the frame!

Pros
  • - luminosity; - sharpness; - focal length; - compactness.
Cons
  • - focusing speed.
