I read many reviews before deciding to try this shoe. Shoes are very important to me in my tennis game and I believe different shoes can make a big difference. I used to love my Babolats but they kept changing design and the latter hurt my feet (plantar fasciitis) so I moved on. The Stycons look cool, but I was curious to know that they actually stabilize the feet and provide better ankle support than classic lace-ups. All I can say is DAMN! I was really able to move like crazy on the court - more than usual. I felt like these shoes really allowed me to hold on to the ground and start and stop abruptly. The shoes were a bit difficult to put on at first; You'll have to figure out how to hold them correctly by spreading your tongues, but it gets a lot easier with practice. They're not the most comfortable of shoes either: they're very snug on the foot, making you look forward to stepping out in them after a hard game. I haven't had much time to break them in, so after a while I might want to wear them casual.
