I use this all the time. I have it in my kitchen at night with a motion sensor. So if I need something fast I can just walk in and it lights up enough to get what I want. I look for something in my closet, hang it on a hanger with the clip that came with it, and I can look inside my boxes. I want to listen to the radio, it does. i need a charger I just plug something in and it charges it. The flashlight is one of the best flashlights I have. I like how the beam is focused and also how it illuminates the area. The light is very bright and I can light up the whole room with it. The reading light is the only light that works with the motion sensor, but it's bright enough. I can definitely read in the light it emits. In some cases it's too light, so I cover the light with a piece of paper. That is exactly what is being advertised. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be prepared or needs a flashlight. Most people already have a radio, maybe not battery powered but whatever. I like that I can charge it in different ways. I can spin by hand (you don't want to do that because these batteries take a long time to charge), I can use the sun (this also takes some time, the batteries last a long time). Or I can just use USB for charging, which is pretty fast. I think if I were to use this in an emergency, the solar charger would be enough to charge the battery every day. I would use it at night to read books or listen to the radio while waiting for help. I could use a flashlight to signal someone or press the SOS button to make a loud noise. My only complaint is that the motion sensor was scratched. It works great but when I run my finger over it I feel a scratch. But that's a small problem. I think the only thing they could do to improve it would be to add more features. Next time, how about adding a lighter or maybe a walkie-talkie (yes, you'll have to buy two of those, but it's not a bad idea). Anyway I very much agree.
