I can't rely on the app to work, just skip it.

I bought this to free up space on my iPhone7 and iPad Pro and save some sentimental videos on an external hard drive. I downloaded a free app that uses the drive and tried to transfer my photos. The app and device worked great on my iPad Pro. When it came time to transfer most of my photos and videos from my iPhone 7, the app would crash every time I tried to transfer a video (even a short 9 second video) and would also crash in the middle in the transmission of photos. For the purpose I bought it for I couldn't get it to work at all. I will come back to try another.
