I have a computer that I originally bought for $2,000 - a "desktop replacement" that had all the bells and whistles back then. Unfortunately, the word DESKTOP once escaped me; and I put it on the TV table and knocked it over; Fry the screen. As a result, the computer sat idle for three years until I decided to get the monitor working with it. However, there was a bottleneck. In order to function under current conditions, the memory continued to use "virtual" memory since it was only "1/2 gigabyte" when originally assembled; and memory for that old computer was still hard to find. That was until I discovered that Komputerbay still makes it available on Revain. Wow! Now it never touches the virtual memory, which restored the original speed. And two memory cards were packed together. They even arrived a few days before the price! It was one of the easiest and most useful upgrades I've ever bought. Thanks Computerby.
