Great item for mountaineering

Great item for mountaineering where weight is the deciding factor. Only 1.8 ounces! And there are light colors, I took orange, that should help me hold this thing in place. The optics aren't the best, and 18mm doesn't offer a comfortable view like 36mm, and it's not sealed or filled with an inert gas so you'll find dust inside after a while, and also condensation on a cold morning. BUT at such a LIGHT WEIGHT there is no other option of similar quality, especially under $20. And the build quality isn't bad, not perfect, but better than you'd expect for the price, no issues. I wouldn't recommend using it in low light, but that goes for all optics in this range. In the mountains, especially above the snow line, there is too much sunlight, so the thing works very well and gives the promised 7x zoom.
