Great toy for toddlers 1 year and up. My grandson loves TV remotes and this has become a bit of a problem. This toy is his own remote control and he likes to trade it in for his own remote control instead of playing with the TV remote control. Leapfrog is full of lights and sounds that react to different buttons. The best part is the educational aspect of the toy. It's packed with counting songs, shape recognition, and lots of pedagogical concepts. All in all, it's probably the best toy we've ever had. He never seems to get tired and the educational content should be suitable for children up to 3 or 4 years old. No matter how he plays with Leapfrog, the first set of batteries will still work months later.
