I don't normally write reviews but I want to warn people when it comes to Embers' 80 minute battery life. This is not a cheap mug. It should do exactly what they say. First, the mug is well made. It doesn't look cheap at all. It even keeps my drink at 145 degrees as promised. My problem is with the battery itself. When I take it off the charger, the battery is 95% charged. By the time I make coffee/hot cider, the battery is 90% charged. I didn't do any scientific research or look at how long my battery lasted the first time, but it wasn't even close to an hour. It would be fine if I only had one cup of coffee, but I usually drink two cups. You'll never get 2 cups of hot coffee with this thing. And it was a new improved mug with extended battery life?
