I am using this device with a pair of JLAB headphones. It works well. Reception is mostly clear when it's within range. I also have the RS 120 and 135 sets. The range on this set is about half the range compared to RS120 style TV headphones. Sennheiser manufactures high quality products. This product needs improvement. Issues: MULTIPLE deafening beeps on power on/off, low battery, and out of range. The volume of these tones is NOT controlled. Do not turn the device on or off with headphones in your ears. except for "range" you will be surrounded by high-pitched beeps that will not stop until you get back in range. Find out the length of your leash. And know that sometimes "reach" is unpredictable. Only use the device with a fully charged battery. So you should always be ready to rip out the headphones when the battery is low. I also bought backup batteries here at Revain in July. 2x Pack - BA300 replacement battery for Sennheiser brand UpStart battery. Batteries fit perfectly. One was received from DOA as a replacement with their "lifetime warranty" and $4 shipping, DOA also arrived.
