I am using this device with a pair of JLAB headphones. It works well. Reception is mostly clear when it's within range. I also have the RS 120 and 135 sets. The range on this set is about half the range compared to RS120 style TV headphones. Sennheiser manufactures high quality products. This product needs improvement. I bought this Sennheiser SET840s system in hopes that it would do at least one of two things well: (1) I hear spoken words on TV clearly through my own headphones, less TV speaker volume than I used; and/or (2) transmit clearly spoken words directly to the telecoils in my Bernafon Veras 9CP hearing aids.
