Metalcloak Lock-N-Load Wrench: A Tool That Gets the Job Done but Lacks in Comfort

I recently purchased the Metalcloak Lock-N-Load Wrench to help me with the task of tightening my JK/TJ Lock-N-Load control arm. While the wrench proved to be effective in achieving its intended purpose, I found that it lacked in the comfort department. The dual-sided tool with 1.25" and 1.5" ends was easy to maneuver and tightening the lock-n-load control arm was done effortlessly. However, the handle of the wrench was hard and uncomfortable to grip, causing my hand to cramp up after extended use. I found myself having to take frequent breaks due to the discomfort caused by the handle. Furthermore, the price point of the Metalcloak Lock-N-Load Wrench was a bit steep for what it offered. While it did the job, I couldn't help but feel like I could have found a comparable tool for a more reasonable price. Overall, while I give the Metalcloak Lock-N-Load Wrench 3 stars out of 5 for its effectiveness in tightening my control arm, I can't give it a total glowing recommendation due to the lack of comfort and slightly steep price point.

Pros
  • Built to last
Cons
  • Some users may find the Lock-N-Load wrench to be too bulky or heavy, particularly when compared to smaller, more ergonomic control arm wrenches on the market
