Review on 🍿 8 Ounce Great Northern Popcorn Black Antique Style Popper Machine - 6092 by Jasmine Smith

This is my first Amazon review. I had to do this because I am so disappointed with this product. After many reviews I bought this popcorn machine with my birthday money. That does not work. The car came the night of the party and the first load of popcorn was tough. I could tell he jumped out too fast. NO INSTRUCTIONS on where the thermostat is or how to turn it off. Wonderful. After searching on YouTube I found out how to make it myself. 2 1/2 hours later and ruined 7 servings of popcorn, it still wasn't heating up at the right rate. Customer support is provided via email only. Nobody to talk to about the problem. Terrible! They emailed back 2 days later and gave me instructions to boil 1 cup of water in 3 minutes and attached a picture of how and where to set the thermostat. How is that instruction not on the package insert?!?! Also tonight my wife and I spent 1.5 hours unscrewing/disassembling and adjusting and reassembling the thermostat and the thermostat still won't get up to temp. Chew popcorn every time. So much waste of time and money for popcorn/butter/butter. This car is back. Quality control had better make sure these thermostats are properly set before they leave the factory. And at the very least, this company should be considerate enough of the consumer to include instructions on where to find the thermostat and how to adjust it if necessary, especially if they don't have real-time customer service. I have to say that I feel very comfortable. including carpentry, woodworking, farming, manufacturing and many other hobbies. This problem is not operator error. I expected more from Great Northern Popcorn.
