Review on ๐Ÿช” Charcoal Tablets for Incense - Quick-Light Coal Disks - 33mm Rolls - Pack of 100 Coal Briquettes - Slow Burn & Instant Lighting by Tina Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Meets my needs, shines well, burns well.

Used in a rocking censor for the Divine Liturgy in a very small space (I'm a priest). This works very well in this context for two reasons. First, since the room is small, I burn very little incense to keep the room from getting smoky. So I don't need big coal. I broke the big ones in half. Second, since this is a small room (chapel) and not a church, I don't have to go around with the censorship around the church and the like. So the charcoal does not have to burn for so long. If for some reason I need to add a second charcoal, there is enough room in the censor to add another charcoal next to the existing one. You can see in the picture there is enough space. This is the second box I've used and I've had no issues with the charcoal lighting. However, it is important to store them in a dry place as moisture can make any charcoal difficult to ignite. Individual packaging is a very good idea. If you light them there, the typical smell of self-igniting coals - nothing unusual about it. The shape of the coals is also good as it keeps the incense in place. For my purposes this could not have been the best product.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
