I use Salt-Off on my boats and trailers here on the Gulf Coast. Living and playing in a salty environment, and especially spending a lot of time on the water, you get used to things evaporating through corrosion. This is great for washing things after exposing them to salty conditions - deck chairs, rod and reel, your truck or car etc. and of course boats and trailers. The process is simple. Dispenser at the end of the hose is available as a set or separately. Just spray the item down. Wait 5-10 minutes. Wash. let it dry Did. I also keep the mixed solution in a hand held sprayer to use after launch on the ramp so I don't leave my trailer unprotected all day while I'm on the water. You will find many competing products: Salt-Away, Captain Salty's etc. I haven't tried them but most are comparable in price and I'm not as convinced of the company as I am of Star Brite. Also, not all competitors have PTEFs. This part is very important so let it soak and air dry to keep the coating on it and protect it from damage.
