So I owned and use Manfrotto, Cullmann and I bought the "award winning" iFootgear I believe it's called. It was more stable and easier to use and could be reset. into the central position, but the protrusions didn't fit well because they protruded through the latches. I would NOT get a screw cap as I think they are crap (take it to fine sand and you will learn quickly) so the ifoot was a latch too but lay flat. This is because the engineers designed it for a breech instead of matching the swing design to the breech design. The clasp just needs a little more play. Otherwise I'd say get it for MUCH less money and better stability. Ironically, Ifoot has smaller legs. Sturdy construction but unstable with the weight on it. * See my photos and reviews of what I am comparing.
