I bought this gauge because I was looking for a straight chuck and I liked that Accu-Gage has been around for decades and is known for their durable and accurate gauges. They actually still make some of their sensors in the US, but they're many times more expensive than the cheaper models they sell. I wrongly assumed that even though they are made in China, they would still apply the same level of quality control that they are known for. I was wrong. From the very first time I tried this gauge the needle rose to the pressure shown, but as soon as you pull the cartridge away from the valve stem the needle immediately plunges down about 10psi and then slowly falls from there. . It looks like the sensor is leaking air somewhere inside. In the end I returned it and the search for a decent quality and accurate analog sensor continues.
