Holds mats in place so they stay in place
Carpets will no longer slide on hardwood floors. Thick enough to prevent slipping, but not too thick to create a bulge under the mat. The mat feels natural when walking with a grip pad underneath; does not feel "peppy" or soft. The pad is not colored so it does not transfer color to the floor like other pads. I have read criticism that the pads stick to the floor and sometimes cause damage. All products are subject to wear and tear. A simple preventative check under the mat for spills, dirt, normal wear and tear is just a precautionary measure.
