I never write bad reviews, but this product just isn't good. This teapot can only be used as a decoration on the stove. It's nice, but if you want a working kettle, get something else. The first kettle I got made no sound when the water boiled. It came out of the box after one use and went straight back to Revain. The replacement worked for a little over a month, after which it stopped making noise. The nozzle was not painted over and rusted, so not only would I not use the water coming out of it for cooking, but I would monitor it carefully. Then I suddenly opened the "small cap" of the nozzle to pour water, and the component that makes noise and is attached to it completely detached. He fell on my stove. All in all a waste of money. I wanted a black sheep teapot and I think this is the same mash I will get from this product. However, I'm correcting the course and eyeing Kitchen Aide kettles to replace. A product that works is better than one that doesn't work at all but looks cute from afar.
