Review on πŸ”² Escali SQ157B Nutro Digital Kitchen Scale: Accurate Measurements up to 15 Pounds, in Sleek Black Design by Terra Strickland

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Hair release button

As far as I can tell this scale is accurate for both light and heavy loads (I've compared it to other scales that I also think are accurate and both were pretty much the same). Unlike my other scale, which sometimes requires fighting to change units, this one is very responsive. My only complaint is that it's a bit big and bulky, which means you really have to grab it if you want to move it around (e.g. pull it out or put it away). The top piece is just a cover that you lightly clean for cleaning which is a cool feature in itself but it means it will pop out if you try to lift it, it's big or you have to use a stronger grip than my old scale doesn't bother me BUT if I do by holding them so tightly I tend to accidentally turn them on It's normal if I take them out but it means I'm wasting my battery that I'm not actually touching the button when it turns on - this scale follows an unfortunate trend , which electronics companies are following, replacing all their physical buttons with capacitive (touch) I hate this trend for a variety of reasons (I really appreciate the haptic feedback and the phys ic buttons feel less finicky), but there seems to be an issue with the way this is set up, and if I only weigh the scales by the edges, they think I've pressed the power button. All in all good weights. I just want them to use real power buttons.
