Very easy to use, just press the button and salt or pepper is sprinkled to the desired grind size. The problem is that I bought it as a gift for a friend. I gave it to her for Christmas and she only started using it a month ago. Actually bought two sets but haven't used mine yet. She used peppercorns and noticed that the peppercorns did not come out crushed, but simply reached their full size. I looked at it and noticed that the part holding the rod with the grinding mechanism attached was broken. I shook it a little and it all just fell to the floor. The part holding it seems to be made of plastic! I don't see how you can expect it to last long. I'm pretty sure the return time has passed so I don't even know what to do with my unused set let alone replace it. I do not recommend this. I will read some reviews of other brands available here on Revain.
